Atlanta, September 13, 2012 — Metadigm Services successfully completed a multi-year, 2.4 million meter enhancement project for Georgia Power, the largest subsidiary of Southern Co.
Metadigm Services supported Georgia Power in upgrading 2.4 million customers, including meter installation services, meter base repairs, incoming meter quality testing, warehousing and inventory management throughout the state of Georgia.
According to Georgia Power, the upgraded digital system has reduced 14 million miles of travel throughout the state by taking nearly 300 vehicles off the road, greatly reducing vehicle emissions.
