SPP has a peak demand of 50,662 MWs across 17 states, including Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Utah and Wyoming.

They can be used in any 50 Hertz (Hz) and 60 Hz grids and measure electrical parameters such as voltage, phase current and frequency as well as active, reactive and apparent power.
