GE opens Customer Application Center in Nevada

Minden, Nev., May 9, 2012 — GE’s Bently Nevada, a GE Measurement & Control business, announced the opening of its new Customer Application Center at Bently Nevada headquarters in Minden, Nev.

Customers will tour the facility and experience the complete Bently Nevada product portfolio installed in a real-world industrial environment to simulate the most demanding applications across the oil, gas and power generation industries.

The newly minted facility will showcase how GE Bently Nevada products and services work together to optimize plant operations, maximize the value of equipment, enable successful expansion with on-time projects and lower long-term maintenance expenses.

At the CAC, GE customers can participate in training sessions, demonstrations and customization exercises through a series of interactive interfaces and multimedia presentations designed to address their needs. On-site GE domain experts offer one-on-one support, helping customers to operate safely while maximizing plant uptime and efficiency.

Demonstrating this ongoing customer-centric approach, the Minden, Nev., facility is the first in a series of nine new GE Customer Application Centers that will open around the world in 2012.
