WALNUT CREEK, CA, March 12, 2003 — Synergen, Inc., a provider of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Computerized Maintenance Management (CMMS) solutions, has opened a New York City office; expanded their San Francisco Bay Area-based world headquarters; and added a Knoxville, TN regional branch.
Buoyed by continued new customer win successes, including the recent signing of a significant contract with New York City’s Department of Environmental Protection, this office expansion is also in response to Synergen’s growth in regulation-laden vertical industries including the Public Sector with GASB 34/35 requirements, as well as the manufacturing segment impacted by compliance of the FDA’s 21 CFR Part 11 electronic record and e-signature regulations.
While Synergen has had a considerable East Coast installed client base since 1986, the establishment of a centrally-located New York City office reinforces Synergen’s commitment to optimal customer care. Another reflection of Synergen’s sustainable success and continued growth is the doubling of their corporate world headquarters in Walnut Creek, CA as well as the addition of a new regional branch in Knoxville, TN – strategically located near Synergen’s premier facilities management installation at Arnold Engineering Development Center/U.S. Air Force Base.
“While the economy may be experiencing some uncertainty, Synergen’s performance in the Enterprise Asset Management EAM market is enjoying continued success and growth,” said Richard MacDonald, president and CEO of Synergen. “We’re very excited about our New York City office. Opening this office is a natural extension of the implementations we’ve been supporting on the East Coast for nearly two decades and will provide our customers with even greater access to the Synergen team.”
The New York City office is located in the lower Manhattan financial district at 140 Broadway, 46th floor, New York, NY 10005.
Synergen’s Web-architected CMMS/EAM software suite, The Synergen Seriesâ„-, addresses all aspects of MRO including: collaborative work management, asset reliability and maintenance; inventory control, purchasing, and contract management; operational accounting; reporting and analysis; project tracking; safety and regulatory compliance; and document control. Supported by the latest in Internet technology, users need only a standard Web browser to rapidly install, deploy and access Synergen solutions across the enterprise.
Synergen, Inc. was established in 1986 and has major installations in capital-intensive industries such as process and discrete manufacturing, energy, chemicals, mining and metals, food processing, pulp and paper, as well as non-manufacturing industries, such as transportation, health care, education, aerospace/defense, government agencies, utilities, water services, municipalities and those organizations faced with fleet and facility management challenges.
