Wipro and Excelergy collaborate to address global energy and utilities market

Dec. 16, 2003 — Wipro Technologies, the global IT services division of Wipro Ltd., and Excelergy Corp., a provider of software platforms for critical business processes in the energy and utility industry and other complex value chains, announced they have signed a partnership agreement to jointly market, deploy and integrate the complete line of Excelergy platforms, including the CustomerPointà¢â€ž- CIS/CRM solution.

The alliance, which spans North America, Asia-Pacific, Europe and the Middle East, will combine the solution integration and support expertise of Wipro with the product-based software technology expertise of Excelergy.

As part of the alliance, Wipro will provide technical helpdesk support to joint Excelergy-Wipro clients as well as development support for Excelergy’s expanding software product lines, which now also include Excelergy Revenue Managerà¢â€ž-, Excelergy Trader BackOfficeà¢â€ž-, Excelergy BusinessRunnerà¢â€ž- and Excelergy MarketRunnerà¢â€ž-, among others. Wipro also plans to resell Excelergy products in select Asia-Pacific markets.
