Baltimore Gas & Electric hires ICF International for energy efficiency

Baltimore Gas & Electric Co. (BGE), a unit of Exelon Corp., awarded ICF International, a provider of consulting services and technology solutions, three contracts to extend and enhance energy efficiency services. The contracts have a capacity of up to $61 million and a term of three years.

Under terms of the contracts, ICF will support BGE’s energy efficiency portfolio including: residential, small commercial, commercial and industrial, and combined, heat, and power programs.

ICF will also provide services that include energy efficiency program design and management, marketing and promotion, trade ally recruitment and management, rebate processing, quality control, and program tracking and reporting.

The work’s start date will be based on the outcome of the Maryland Public Service Commission’s review of the 2015-2017 suite of programs.
