Chicago’s Soldier Field installs Coulomb electric vehicle charging stations

Chicago, August 8, 2011 — Chicago’s Soldier Field stadium is the latest business to join Coulomb Technology‘s ChargePoint Network. Soldier Field’s three electric vehicle charging stations, located now on the ChargePoint Network, are installed in its North Garage and are available to visitors for free.

The North Garage is the main parking garage for Soldier Field, and the Museum Campus attractions: the Field Museum of Natural History, the Shedd Aquarium and Adler Planetarium.

The ChargePoint Network expansion into Chicago’s Solder Field brings EV drivers charging services including the ability to: check real-time status and location of unoccupied charging stations, reserve a charging station, track and report greenhouse gas and gasoline savings, and receive charging status notifications by SMS, email or smart phone (iPhone, Android and Blackberry) applications.

Coulomb’s ChargePoint Network is open to all drivers of plug-in vehicles and all manufacturers of electric vehicle charging stations.
