CPS Energy customers can control energy management system through smartphones

CPS Energy customers with the Home Manager energy management system can now control their energy use anytime, anywhere, with any smart device. A new mobile app and tablet interface is now available for the free system.

Home Manager is an energy management system that allows CPS Energy customers to control and monitor the energy used by HVAC systems, water heaters and pool pumps.   

Home Manager is a home energy management system designed by Consert Inc. The system uses wireless devices placed on your air conditioner and water heater, combined with a new digital thermostat, communicate with an electric meter equipped with an internal communications gateway. This gateway is the brain of your Home Manager, and it uses a wireless network to relay information between a CPS Energy data center and the system devices installed in the home.

Real-time data collected by Home Manager is available to the user through a personal online portal

The app is available to Android and iPhone users through their respective app stores, and both versions are free.

CPS Energy currently has more than 10,000 customers taking control of their energy use with Home Manager.
