The 200 MW project is named in honor of Doug Colbeck, a long-time developer at E.On who died of leukemia in 2013. Doug’s family joined E.On North American Chairman Patrick Woodson to honor Colbeck’s memory at today’s ceremony.
Family members of Doug Colbeck join Patrick Woodson, Chairman of E.On North America, several local elected officials from Gray and Carson Counties, Texas, and other E.On representatives to officially open Colbeck’s Corner Wind Farm on Nov. 2, 2016.
Colbeck’s Corner is expected to generate $34 million in tax revenue for local communities, and support 14 permanent jobs, in addition to the jobs and investment generated in the area during the project’s construction.
