EIA releases renewable potential maps for two US regions

EIA’s new map presents an integrated picture of renewable energy resources in Alabama, Kentucky, Mississippi, and Tennessee (the East South Central U.S. Census Division). Solar, geothermal, and wind energy potentials and indicators of hydroelectric, biomass, and wood energy potentials are shown.
