Boston, March 23, 2011 – EnerNOC, a provider of energy management applications for the smart grid, entered into a contract with Southern California Edison to deliver EnerNOC’s EfficiencySMART data-driven energy efficiency application to SCE customers.

As part of the contract, which runs through December 31, 2012, SCE will provide funding for EfficiencySMART Commissioning deployments at commercial and institutional customer sites, enabling SCE customers to receive all metering and monitoring equipment, as well as the first year of energy efficiency data analytics and reporting, at a reduced cost.

EfficiencySMART Commissioning combines advanced metering technology with sophisticated software to provide valuable insights into facilities’ energy usage.

EnerNOC analysts review energy savings opportunities identified by EfficiencySMART to deliver clear, actionable, low- or no-cost recommendations that help customers reduce energy consumption, prioritize maintenance issues and enhance occupant comfort.
