Enerwise Global Technologies adds Exelon Energy Delivery to national network of utility partners

KENNETT SQUARE, Pa., May 13, 2003 — Enerwise Global Technologies, a provider of enterprise energy management, announced that Exelon Energy Delivery, of which utilities PECO Energy of Philadelphia and ComEd of Chicago are a part, has joined its rapidly growing network of preferred utility partners.

As an Enerwise utility partner, Exelon will be able to offer its regional and national customers a range of technological tools that can help them better measure and manage their energy usage.

Enerwise offers utilities advanced energy information services (EIS) that utilities integrate into their own systems. Once a utility has integrated Enerwise’s EIS technology, customers of the utility can tap into the technology to gain accurate measurements of their energy use.

Because its technology can be quickly and easily deployed in multiple locations, the Enerwise network is especially attractive to companies with facilities in more than one area of the country. Accurate information about energy use in all of company’s locations allows energy managers to establish national benchmarks, specific to facility layout, equipment and even seasonal variations.

“Our new partnership with Enerwise will offer meaningful energy efficiencies for our commercial customers,” said John Costello, Senior Vice President, Customer, Energy and Marketing Services. “Once a company has access to this energy information, they can use it to identify anomalies, determine best practices and implement changes that will improve their energy performance at multiple locations.”

Jerry Petrotto, Senior Vice President for Enerwise, added: “We are thrilled to welcome Exelon to our growing network of partner utilities. Their commitment to customer service and innovative management solutions, combined with Enerwise’s technology, will mean increased savings for Exelon’s customers. We view this partnership as an important step forward in our continued growth and market penetration.”
