Gehrlicher Solar builds solar parks in Romania

Photovoltaic company Gehrlicher Solar built three ground-mounted solar energy systems for a Romanian private investor. The solar power projects have a combined capacity of about 9 MW.

The three solar parks are located about 223 miles northwest of Bucharest and built on “‹”‹most 47 acres in all. Just six weeks after the start of construction all three solar parks have been completed. These investments are supported through the Romanian promotion of power generation from renewable energy sources with green certificates over the following 15 years.

36,168 solar modules manufactured by Jinko Solar were used for the construction of the plants and SMA produced the nine central inverters to convert solar power into grid-compatible direct current.
