German energy storage company to sell batteries in North America

American Vanadium Corp. agreed with Germany-based Gildemeister Energy Eolutions to sell Gildemeister’s CellCube vanadium redox flow batteries in North America, according to Power Engineering.

The CellCube is a commercially available energy storage system that can be scaled to multi-hour and multi-megawatt size. American Vanadium said it will use its own electrolyte supply from its Gibellini Mine in Nevada.
