Pacific Green Tech buys 49 MW biomass project in U.K.

U.S. Pacific Green Technologies Inc. completed the acquisition of a 49 MW biomass project at Sutton Bridge in England’s Lincolnshire county for an undisclosed price.

More specifically, the company had taken over Pacific Green Energy Parks Ltd, the sole owner of Energy Park Sutton Bridge Ltd, which has already secured a planning permission for the project. In addition, EPSB holds an option to buy the property on which the biomass facility will be constructed.

The planned installation is expected to cost $248 million and will use an ENVI-Pure Emission Control System to eliminate any hazardous gases and pollutants. The acquired firm is the owner of the marketing rights to this technology.
