Real Goods Solar will build 2.2 MW solar energy project in Vermont

St. Albans Solar Partners picked RGS Energy, a unit of Real Goods Solar to develop a 2.2 MW solar power project in Vermont.

The project, when complete, will be the largest solar project in the state, according to Power Engineering.

RGS Energy will design, install, monitor and maintain the project. Construction is expected to begin in July and scheduled for completion in November.

All of the output will be sold through a feed-in tariff under the Standard Offer Program of Vermont’s Sustainably Priced Energy Development (SPEED) Program.
