Renewable energy developer Element Power buys 1.4 GW of wind assets

Portland, Ore., February 9, 2010 — Element Power recently acquired a 1.4 GW portfolio of wind development assets from EcoEnergy, for an undisclosed price.

Over the last year private equity-backed Element Power has built a North American portfolio of nearly 4 GW of wind and solar power assets, covering more than 25 states in the U.S.
