Siemens rehires workers to Kansas wind energy factory

Siemens Wind Power rehired about 300 workers to its Hutchinson, Kansas wind turbine manufacturing plant The German industrial conglomerate laid off 152 workers from the plant in September 2012.

Siemens said the plant would continue to adjust the number of employees in response to customer orders. The plant has recalled all permanent employees on its call-back list, according to Power Engineering.
