Texas educates consumers about upcoming choice

The state of Texas has launched a campaign to educate Texans about the state’s abundant renewable energy resources. In addition, Retail Electricity Providers (REPs) will be required to provide on request an electricity facts label to help consumers make comparisons between different electricity products.

ALAMEDA, Calif., May 29, 2001 – Silicon Energy, providing Internet-based Enterprise Energy Management technology, today announced that Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) has selected its EEM Suite* energy technology software as the infrastructure for PG&E’s new Inter-Act program.
