Trina Solar supplies modules for solar photovoltaic project in Thailand

Changzhou, China, April 8, 2010 — Trina Solar unit, Changzhou Trina Solar Energy Co., Ltd., established a strategic partnership with Grenzone Pte Ltd, a system integrator, to supply its modules for PV projects in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. Initial shipments commenced in March 2010.

Trina Solar is an integrated manufacturer of solar photovoltaic (PV) products from the production of ingots, wafers and cells to the assembly of PV modules.

Grenzone has been awarded the contract to design and build a 2.2 MW turnkey PV solar power plant in the northeast region of Thailand. Trina Solar is expected to supply about 9,600 PV modules to Grenzone for the project, which is expected to go online in August 2010.

Trina Solar Limited, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Changzhou Trina Solar Energy Co. Ltd., is a manufacturer of solar modules.
