San Antonio, TX – In this video, Jeremy Klingel of Black and Veatch walks us through his view of next generation grid technology. Klingel says the next generation grid is more than utility infrastructure and encompasses distributed energy resources, digitalization and carbon-free energy sources.

He explains that even though convincing regulators and showing return on investment (ROI) is challenging for utilities looking to implement new technologies, if they focus on the payoff — reliability and resiliency — the grid of the future will be stronger than ever before.
