Wind energy project in Mexico sold to Iberdrola

Gamesa sold a 70 MW wind energy project in Mexico to Iberdrola for an undisclosed amount.

Gamesa will continue to develop and build the Dos Arbolitos wind farm in the Mexican state of Oaxaca, and will provide and install 35, 2 MW turbines. Delivery is scheduled for the end of 2013, with commissioning expected in 2014.

Gamesa has developed, built and commissioned more than 170 MW of wind power in Mexico and has a pipeline of 544 MW at different stages of development.
