ABLOY USA to feature high security app and padlock at DISTRIBUTECH International

ABLOY USA (booth 1415) will showcase at DISTRIBUTECH International two high security locking solutions that can help protect critical infrastructure at energy, telecommunications and utility facilities.

An access control mobile app, ABLOY PROTEC2 CLIQ Connect allows facility managers to control access rights when using CLIQ Web Manager software. Lost or stolen keys no longer pose a potential problem as they can be deactivated without the need for mechanical keying. Another advantage is CLIQ Connect provides an audit trail and its components are protected for reliable operation in extreme weather conditions, said the company.

The ABLOY PROTEC2 Super Weather Proof (SWP) padlock is regarded as the world’s toughest electromechanical locking solution, said ABLOY. It is designed to secure assets at high risk, high value industry segments with critical infrastructure. Case hardened boron steel shackles offer supreme durability in a variety of ways. Not only does it provide absolute security against forcing, picking and vandalism, it stands tall during exposure to extreme cold and heat, including being submerged in water.
