Christie displays power delivery solutions at DistribuTECH 2016

Audio visual company Christie will be exhibiting video wall solutions for the utility industry at DistribuTECH Conference and Exhibition 2016 from February 9-11 at the Orange County Convention Center, Orlando.

Control room solutions showcased at the booth will include a side-by-side comparison of Christie Velvet Merit Series 1.5mm LED tiles and Entero HB 70-inch HD front access cubes; Christie Phoenix and Christie Phoenix Quad-T; and three sizes of Christie LCD flat panels.

“For utility professionals looking for control room solutions, Christie’s experience designing and implementing video walls powered by our state of the art Phoenix processors for the industry is unparalleled,” says Dave Muscat, senior director, Americas, technical sales and solutions, Christie. “Please visit us at DistribuTECH 2016 at booth 1567 to see the latest video wall technology available, for any budget, all backed by Christie’s industry leading service and support.”

Merit Series 1.5mm tiles can be configured into any size and shape, and offer the highest image quality with premium performance in a solid-state, energy efficient, slim design. Comparatively, Entero HB 70-inch cubes are front-serviceable, offer brightness up to 1350 lumens and optional Wi-Fi connectivity. Both Merit Series 1.5mm tiles and Entero HB 70-inch cubes are designed for 24/7 critical viewing applications including control room video walls.

Showing at DistribuTECH 2016 is Christie’s award-winning 98-inch UHD plug-and-play flat panel. The Christie FHQ981-L panel offers 24/7 performance with exceptional image quality and contrast. Also on display will be the Christie FHD552-X 55-inch LCD panel in a 2×2 array, ideal for tiled display walls in control room environments. The ultra-narrow bezel and high-pixel density offer industry-leading image quality with a low cost of ownership, and can be installed in either portrait or landscape orientation.

Additionally, attendees will see the Christie FHQ842-T 84-inch UHD LCD flat panel with touch capability. Designed for high usage applications, including meeting rooms and board rooms, the 84-inch panel has built-in speakers, 10-point multi-touch capability and an OPS slot.

Managing video, audio, and data on all of the displays in the Christie booth is the Christie Phoenix system and the Christie Phoenix Quad-T. The Phoenix Quad-T encoder can be installed anywhere on a network to seamlessly expand a Phoenix system, allowing the system to acquire four high-quality, 4K/UHD video, audio and control signals over IP networks. The Christie Phoenix and Phoenix Quad-T offer users simultaneous and secure control of audiovisual data from virtually anywhere.
