SAIC support energy efficiency programs for Ameren Illinois

McLean, Va., August 11, 2011 — Science Applications International Corp. won a contract to provide Ameren Illinois, a distributor of electric and gas services in Illinois, with energy efficiency programs aimed at achieving the utility’s efficiency program goals.

SAIC will work closely with Ameren Illinois to maximize the delivery of and participation in cost-effective energy programs, helping ensure customer satisfaction through support, technical services and external communications.

SAIC will also foster market transformations for Ameren Illinois, where possible, through efficiency programs that aim to achieve persistent savings, modify customer behavior, and advance new and emerging technologies for the utility.

SAIC Energy, Environment & Infrastructure, LLC is a unit of SAIC.
