2015 trends in Internet of Things, maker movement, 5G

National Instruments

The “2015 Trend Watch Report” launched by National Instruments (NI) includes predictions on several key trends such as the industrial and consumer Internet of Things (IoT), the maker movement and 5G wireless.

IoT is a reoccurring theme throughout the report, and NI discusses how companies can overcome IoT challenges as complexity grows with innovation.

NI’s technology has enabled countless connected things such as smart factories, smart grids, smart cars and smart disaster response and recovery systems. Because NI tools are used in many industries and applications, NI can examine the latest trends in measurement, sensors, networks, test and more as they happen.
