DistribuTECH2019’s Call for Abstracts is Now!

Who dat ready to hold the stage at the Big Easy?

The call for abstracts at next year’s DistribuTECH in New Orleans is wide open. If you’re a grid industry expert who has a great idea for a session at DistribuTECH 2019, now is your time to let us know.

DistribuTECH 2019 will be February 5-7 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans. The call for abstracts also is open to those interested in submitting a session idea for Utility University which is all day on Monday, Feb. 4, 2019.

The session lineup for DistribuTECH includes 15 tracks focused on every facet of the modern-day and future grid. Those tracks include Advanced Metering, Asset Management, Communications Solutions, Customer Strategies and Technologies, Data Analytics, Defending the Grid, DER Management and Control; Disruptive, Emerging and Innovative Technologies; Distribution Automation, Energy Storage, Enterprise Grid Management, Geospatial Applications and Methodologies, Internet of Things/Smart Cities, Digitized Substation and Reliability, Resiliency and Response.

The DistribuTECH conference committee also will consider some abstracts for megasessions. The past event held January in San Antonio had more than 80 sessions, eight megasessions and more than 20 Utility University sessions.

DistribuTECH is the nation’s biggest annual conference and exhibition focused on the smart grid and transmission-distribution sectors. More than 11,400 industry professionals from 72 nations attended the event in San Antonio.
