Gigamon appoints John Kispert to board

Gigamon, a leader in traffic visibility solutions with the innovative Unified Visibility Fabric, announced the appointment of John Kispert, CEO of Spansion, to its board of directors. Kispert has also been appointed as a member of the company’s audit committee.

“We are delighted to have John join our team,” said Corey Mulloy, chairman of the Gigamon board of directors. “John’s extensive industry knowledge and his broad executive experience as a veteran of the networking and information technology industry will enable him to provide strategic insight and a unique independent perspective to complement the strengths of our existing board members. He will be a great addition and we welcome him to the Gigamon board.”

Kispert has served as president, CEO and member of the board of directors of Spansion Inc., a global leader of embedded systems solutions, since February 2009. Kispert has a broad background spanning executive, financial and operational roles. Prior to joining Spansion, Kispert spent 13 years in finance and operational roles at KLA-Tencor including president, chief operations officer and chief financial officer. Prior to KLA-Tencor, Kispert held several senior management positions with IBM.

Kispert has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Grinnell College and an MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles.
