National Grid former joins Space-Time Insight board

Peter Massey has joined Space”Time Insight‘s board of advisors. Massey is currently special advisor to the U.S. executive of National Grid plc, based out of Boston, Massachusetts and Brooklyn, New York. He brings a wealth of operational and strategic experience within the gas and electricity sectors in both the U.K. and the U.S.

Massey held several executive roles within National Grid. Throughout his career, spanning 32 years in British Gas, Transco and National Grid, he has been at the forefront of transforming the asset management and operational performance of the business in the U.K. and U.S., according to Space-Time Insight.

Massey joins an advisory board that includes Lakshman Charanjiva — VP and CIO at NextEra Energy, John Marshall — former EVP at Kansas City Power & Light, Klaus Heimann — former SVP at SAP AG, Paul De Martini — former CTO and VP of Strategy at Cisco Systems, and Keishin Sasaki — president and CEO of e-Solutions.

“Pete has been a key shaper and implementer of significant business and information technology programs that have influenced the gas and electric utility business over the last 15 years,” said Rob Schilling, CEO of Space-Time Insight. “His wealth of experience in technology-enabled business transformation is a welcome addition to our Board of Advisors.”

Space-Time Insight’s software is in use in mission-critical systems at energy companies globally, including California ISO, Hydro One, Sacramento Municipal Utility District and Southern California Edison.
