Northeast Utilities hires new executives

Northeast Utilities promoted two executives to new leadership roles. Robert Bersak has been promoted to NU Chief Regulatory Counsel.

Bersak is based at Public Service of New Hampshire (PSNH) in Manchester, New Hampshire, and will continue to serve there in the positions of Assistant Secretary for both PSNH and Northeast Utilities Service Co.

Ron Smith has been promoted to NU vice president of internal audit and security. Smith, a 30-year veteran of NU, is based in Berlin, Connecticut. He previously served as director of internal audit and security and has held various management and information technology positions within internal audit and corporate accounting.

Northeast Utilities (NU) delivers electric power to more than 3.6 million customers in Connecticut, Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
