Vertex names Andrew Jornod CEO

Vertex, a utility customer experience solutions company, promoted Andrew Jornod to CEO and its board of directors. Jornod previously held the position of president since joining Vertex in 2013.

“During his time as president, Andrew has exhibited exceptional leadership and led Vertex in its quest for continued excellence in the utilities market,” said David Bieber, chairman of the board of directors for Vertex. “His focus on supporting current client relationships while constantly identifying new growth opportunities has led to unprecedented progress.”

With more than 15 years of experience in the utilities industry, Jornod spearheaded Vertex’s dedication to continued customer experience improvement. In a recent customer satisfaction survey of Vertex’s utility clients, 9 out of 10 reported that Vertex services are continually improving.

Under Jornod’s leadership, Vertex has expanded its position as the customer operations expert in the utilities industry, most recently with the introduction of VertexOne, a Software as a Service (SaaS) customer experience platform that offers best-in-class delivery, uptime and technical support. Jornod is also responsible for leading the go-to-market strategy for Vertex.

“During Andrew’s tenure as president, Vertex has experienced strong and consistently improving financial performance,” said Brad Almond, chief financial officer and senior vice president of corporate services for Vertex. “As a result, we have a strong foundation for rapidly bringing new and differentiated solutions and services that offer value to utilities and their customers. We welcome Andrew’s extensive industry experience to support these initiatives.”
