World Wind Energy Market Update 2016

The global wind turbine installations of 2015 show just how much the wind power industry has grown over the past few years. They also illustrate how firmly wind energy is entrenched as part of the broader worldwide energy system. In 2015, 63,135 MW of wind power capacity was added globally, a 23.2 precent increase from the 51,230 MW installed in 2014. See the Navigant Research report.
