Citec signs frame agreement with Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery

Vaasa, Finland, May 26, 2010 – Citec has signed a frame agreement with Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery AB, located in Finspong, Sweden.

Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery designs, manufactures and installs gas turbines and steam turbines with high efficiencies and low emissions.

The company also delivers complete power plants based on their manufactured turbines. Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery AB has 2,700 employees.

According to the agreement, Citec will provide project services for Siemens, consisting of multi-discipline engineering services, project management and site services, as well as technical documentation services. During 2010, the business scope employs about 30 persons at Citec.

Citec provides multi-discipline engineering and consulting services for the power, civil, rail vehicles and process industries. Citec also offers a wide range of services and solutions related to technical communication.

Founded in 1984, Citec consists of two companies – Citec Engineering Oy Ab and Citec Information Oy Ab.

Citec is headquartered in Vaasa, Finland, and has offices in Finland, Sweden, the U.K., France, Russia and India.
