Former PECO and Exelon CEO Corbin A. McNeill, Jr. joins Gestalt, LLC Board

May 7, 2003 — Gestalt, LLC, an information technology firm specializing in the application of interoperation technologies including decision support and simulation, is pleased to announce the appointment of Corbin A. McNeill, Jr. to its Board.

McNeill brings more than 40 years of energy and utility experience to the Gestalt board. He is the retired Chairman and CEO of Exelon Corporation (NYSE:EXC), the company formed in October 2000 by the merger of PECO Energy Company and Unicom Corporation.

Prior to the merger McNeill was Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of PECO Energy. McNeill joined PECO in 1998 and served in various roles before being named Chairman, President and CEO in 1997. During his tenure as Chief Executive Officer, PECO Energy was recognized as “Utility of the Year” by the Edison Electric Institute.

McNeill completed a twenty-year career with the U.S. Navy in 1981 after serving as Commanding Officer of the USS Tautog and Commanding Officer of the Naval Nuclear Power School. Prior to joining PECO, he served in various roles with the New York Power Authority and Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G), where he was named Senior Vice President, Nuclear in April 1987.

McNeill serves on the Board of Directors of Associated Electric & Gas Services Limited (AEGIS), and is a post-bankruptcy director of Enron Corporation. He is a former trustee of Drexel University and The Valley Forge Military Academy, and former Chairman of Leadership Inc., of Philadelphia. He is currently Vice Chairman of the United States Naval Academy Alumni Association (USNAAA).
