Fuel Tech receives orders for emissions controls in China

Fuel Tech Inc. received three air pollution control contracts for three projects in China.

The first award is for two Ultra systems for an existing customer in China for medium-sized coal-fired units being retrofitted with nitrogen oxide (NOx)-reducing technology. The second order is for the same system from a new customer on a coal-fired unit.

The third contract is for a new customer for selective non-catalytic reduction (SNCR) systems on four coal-fired boilers. Deliveries are expected in the third quarter for all of the projects.
