Haley & Aldrich appoints Ishwar Murarka principal consultant

Environmental and engineering firm Haley & Aldrich announced that Ishwar P. Murarka has joined the firm as principal consultant.

Working with Haley & Aldrich’s utilities clients, Murarka will apply his extensive experience in addressing the technical and regulatory issues associated with former manufactured gas plant (MGP) sites and coal combustion residuals (CCRs) management facilities.

Murarka has a Ph.D. in soil science and statistics and has 39 years of experience in the environmental and electric and gas utility sectors.

He has served as chairman and member of the Executive Committee of the Environmental Protection Agency’s Science Advisory Board for more than 10 years. Murarka was founder and president of a science and technology consulting firm specializing in MGP sites and coal combustion residuals management facilities.
