Joint venture to market gas engines to Saudi Arabia

APR Energy and Hertz Dayim Equipment Rental, the joint venture between Hertz Equipment Rental Corp. and Dayim Holdings Co. Ltd, have announced a partnership agreement to develop business for fast-track power solutions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The joint venture will collaborate on business development opportunities for large-scale, fast-track power projects for both gas reciprocating engine and dual-fuel turbine technologies, as well as cooperate on various co-branded marketing activities in Saudi Arabia.

The agreement provides APR Energy with immediate access to one of the largest power markets in the Middle East, while Hertz Dayim Equipment Rental gains immediate entry into the lucrative power solutions market within Saudi Arabia. The kingdom has plans to increase its generating capacity from 55 GW to 120 GW by 2020 in order to meet rising demand.
