WASHINGTON, July 7, 2003 — PFC Energy announced the addition of Sara Banaszak as a Director in the Gas and Power Group. Banaszak will enhance PFC Energy’s strategic advisory capabilities in LNG and other areas of the natural gas business that are impacted by Federal and State energy policy.
Formerly with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Banaszak most recently served as government co-chairman for the National Petroleum Council natural gas study that led to the recent Natural Gas Summit in Washington, D.C. At DOE, Banaszak worked with leading LNG supply and natural gas transportation companies on government-corporate policy initiatives.
She also contributed to LNG policy in areas such as terminal access, permitting and supply security. With her policy depth and industry expertise, Sara possesses unique insight into the challenges faced by energy companies competing in the U.S. natural gas market.
PFC Energy Chairman Robin West commented on Banaszak’s appointment, “Sara is a key addition to the firm and will help our clients understand the strategic and bottom-line impacts of LNG policy being implemented at Federal and State levels. In addition, Sara’s experience in the international aspects of the oil and gas industry will complement our core competitive analysis capabilities that cover the global energy industry.”
