Peerless Mfg. Co. announces order for retrofit SCR systems for multiple power plant units in Mexico


DALLAS, Oct. 9, 2003 — Peerless Mfg. Co. has received an order in excess of 3 million dollars from a global power generation firm.

The order consists of Selective Catalytic Reduction Systems (SCRs) to reduce nitrogen oxides from multiple power plant units in Mexico. The first unit of this multi-plant order is scheduled to ship in the first quarter of FY 2004 with the remaining units presently scheduled for completion in FY 2005 and FY 2006.

“When our equipment is installed, these plants are expected to operate with NOx emission levels equivalent to the most stringent Peerless has ever supplied,” said Sherrill Stone, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. “As the leading supplier of NOx reduction systems, Peerless is proud to have been selected for this prestigious order.”
