Site found in Oklahoma for ‘clean coal’ pilot project

Clean Coal Technologies Inc. executed a site agreement with a coal-fired power plant to host a pilot plant in LeFlore County, Oklahoma.

A key component of the pilot plant is a devolatizer section that is the core of the company’s Pristine and Pristine-SA clean coal processes. The system will be able to test a variety of coal types.

Science Applications International Corp. will construct, commission and test the pilot plant under terms of an engineering, procurement and construction contract with Clean Coal Technologies.
