SPX wins $40 million in contracts for emissions controls

SPX Corp. said its Thermal Equipment and Services segment won $40 million in new orders for dry cooling systems at power plants in Mexico, Indonesia and Jordan.

Under the terms of the contract, SPX will provide air cooled condensers to a 205 MW combined-cycle power plant in San Luis de la Paz, Mexico; a 2×140 MW coal-fired power plant in Babelan, Indonesia; and to the SAMRA III 140 MW add-on combined-cycle power plant in Al Zarqa, Jordan.
