Turcotte brings more than 20 years’ experience working as a journalist, editor and touring musician, including having served as managing editor and senior writer of Instant Magazine from 1997 to 2000.Turcotte began his career at PennWell, the parent company of POWERGRID International and Electric Light & Power, in 2007 as a systems and applications specialist responsible for supporting all graphic, multimedia and desktop publishing applications. Most recently Turcotte worked as an associate editor for PennWell publications Fire Engineering and Fire Apparatus & Emergency Equipment.
Before joining PennWell, Turcotte worked in the information systems department at the Tulsa World newspaper and as logistics manager at Atlas Computer. He also served four years as the digital production support specialist for Emerson College in Boston. He spent three years at Media 100 as a senior Peripheral engineer and helped create the M100 “Compatible Peripherals Guide,” which the video industry still regards as an essential compatibility manual for video media and mass storage. At ICE (Integrated Computing Engines), Turcotte developed and managed its first hardware qualifications department and Peripheral guidebook. In 1999, he helped create DotClick Corp.
In 2009 Bryon launched RedCave Media Inc. which serves as a multimedia production organization. He also manages and works as a content developer and media producer for RedCave Media and contributes to numerous media outlets including Internet Brands, Just Press Play and The Performer magazine as a content developer and writer.
