The Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance (NEEA) has appointed Anita Decker to serve as board chairwoman for 2012. Decker has served as chief operating officer of Bonneville Power Administration since 2007 and most recently served as NEEA’s board secretary.

Other incoming 2012 NEEA board members include:

“NEEA’s board of directors provides crucial leadership of this organization,” said Claire Fulenwider, NEEA executive director. “Their expertise in regional energy efficiency helps NEEA more effectively drive collaborative market transformation in the states of Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington. We’re looking forward to hearing the wise governance that our new and returning members will bring to the table.”
 
Outgoing board members include Rhys Roth, director of strategic innovation for climate solutions who represented the public interest; David Hawk, owner of E2A Energy Analysis and Answers who acted as the Idaho governor representative; and Bill Drummond, now deputy administrator, BPA. These members served a two-year term from 2009 to 2011.
 
NEEA’s 2012 board meetings are scheduled:
“- Feb. 27 and 28 in Seattle,
“- May 31 in Portland, Ore.,
“- Aug. 24 in Spokane,Wash.
“- Nov. 29 in Portland, Ore.
