Alliant Energy Announces Investment in Nth Power Technologies Fund II

As the parent company of Alliant Energy’s non-utility holdings, Alliant Energy Resources has made this investment as an outgrowth of its continued, strategic engagement of the evolving distributed resources segment of the energy industry. Distributed resources are technologies that allow electric power to be generated and delivered by energy service providers, utilities or end-users close to the point where it will be used.

MALVERN, PA-SCT is acquiring the EnerLink business unit, a complex billing and rates management software developer, from SAIC. This acquisition gives SCT and its clients increased charge handling and billing capabilities, including interval data collections and calculations, which supports real time energy pricing and meter data acquisition. These capabilities exist in very few energy billing systems.
