American Electric Power taps Excelergy to support global energy trading

The software, eXACT for Energy Trading, is being deployed at AEP. The AEP deployment marks Excelergy’s expansion into the wholesale energy software market, building upon its proven success in retail energy markets.

HOUSTON, 2001, April 12, 2001 – Dynegy Inc. has added hourly power products to Dynegydirect, the company’s Internet-based, commission-free business-to-business portal and trading site for energy and communications commodities.
