“BioWillie” production facility opens in Durant, Oklahoma

Dallas, TX, April 5, 2006 — Earth Biofuels Inc. announced the opening of its new biodiesel production facility located in Durant, Oklahoma, approximately 100 miles northeast of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

The company expects the plant to produce 10 million gallons of biodiesel fuel per year.

The opening was marked by the attendance of company directors Willie Nelson and Morgan Freeman, as well as U.S. House of Representative from Oklahoma, Dan Boren, Oklahoma state representative, John Carey, and Oklahoma state senator, Jay Paul Gumm.

In a speech to commemorate the opening, Earth Biofuels CEO, Dennis McLaughlin, stated, “It is the objective of Earth Biofuels to participate in transitioning biofuels from an alternative form of energy to a key source of energy for the United States.”

Earth Biofuels produces and distributes biodiesel fuel through the company’s network of wholesale and retail outlets. The fuel is sold under Willie Nelson’s brand name, “BioWillie.” The company is focused on capitalizing on the growing demand for alternative and renewable fuels in the domestic market.
