Black & Veatch appoints managing director for Indian business

Black & Veatch has expanded the expertise offered to clients with the appointment of G. “Satya” Sathiamoorthy as managing director for Black & Veatch in India.

Satya’s role is central to developing Black & Veatch’s business in the country. He will work with clients on energy, telecommunications and water issues.

Satya joins the company with more than 25 years of industry experience and is also vice president of the International Project Management Association’s Greater Mumbai Chapter. He holds a bachelor of engineering degree from Madurai Kamraj University in India.

Satya said the company plans to continue to leverage its global expertise in design, engineering, procurement of equipment and construction. Black & Veatch will also partner with Indian companies to deliver complete project solutions that benefit the Indian economy and create jobs throughout the country.
