Black & Veatch names new vice president of sales and marketing for its Energy Services Division

Kansas City, Mo., June 12, 2002 — Black & Veatch Corp. announced recently it has named William Fredrickson as vice president of sales and marketing for the company’s Energy Services Division.

Fredrickson brings to Black & Veatch more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience. He has served in a number of sales and marketing roles with the nation’s top Fortune 50 companies. In his new role, Fredrickson will be responsible for sales and marketing initiatives for the Energy Services Division, which provides clients with new power generation assistance as well as existing facility optimization.

Fredrickson’s initiatives include increasing market awareness of the Energy Services Division’s capabilities, increasing project work through focused sales efforts and utilizing a combination of proven sales and marketing programs from other industries.

Fredrickson most recently served as vice president of sales and vice president of global marketing and business development with LM Ericsson. He began his career at General Electric in their power systems sector where he served in numerous managerial positions.
