Bow Networks announces eLAN Universal DNP Gateway

CALGARY, AB — Bow Networks announced the release of the eLAN Universal DNP Gateway. It combines several of Bow’s proven eLAN software modules into an easy-to-configure, off-the-shelf solution to a wide range of DNP communications applications, including:

* Data concentration
* Serial to Ethernet conversion
* Device proxy server
* Sub-master
* Poll acceleration
* Multi-master support
* DNP-aware routing
* Encryption, using SSL
* Authentication, using PKI

The eLAN Universal DNP Gateway is based on Bow’s robust, flexible Linux architecture, and is available on a variety of diskless hardware platforms and I/O configurations.

eLAN Universal DNP Gateways are available with 4 to 64 serial ports, and 1 to 4 ethernet interfaces. Single unit pricing starts at $2995 US.
