Brownsville utility selects new revenue cycle management platform for ebusiness

The platform, from e-business provider Cayenta, is called UtilityManager. Cayenta will provide BPUB with the latest in CIS features and functionality, including the option of eCommerce solutions for its customers. The application provides utility billing, customer information and eCommerce for municipal and privately owned utilities.

Nov. 3, 2000–U.S. power companies will commit $25 billion to install scrubbers to remove sulfur dioxide (SO2) at new and existing coal-fired plants over the next 9 years, predicts a Midwest consultant.
